Alofa Aiva Seruvatu - Secretary

Alofa Aiva Seruvatu is the Secretary of the Fiji Law Society. She joined the Fiji Law Society on 22 August 2002. Mrs Seruvatu is a former diplomat with the PNG Foreign Service having served for 22 years. She has worked in Sydney, Australia as Trade Consul (1983), as First Secretary at the PNG Embassy in Washington, DC (1992-1995) and as First Secretary at the PNG High Commission in Suva (1996-2002).
Mrs Seruvatu holds a Degree of Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Papua New Guinea and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in the National Court of Papua New Guinea in 1991. She was also admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in 1996 in the High Court of Fiji in 1996.

Mrs Seruvatu also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in General Management and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from University of the South Pacific.

Mrs Seruvatu has had extensive experience in diplomatic practice, and knowledge of international law, trade and investment issues and the South Pacific business environment, resource and development issues.

She is married to Watisoni who is the Facilities Planner at USP. They have 5 children.

Mehzabeen Aziz - Executive Officer

Mehzabeen Aziz is the Executive Officer. Mehzabeen joined the Fiji Law Society in November 1998. She handles the Society's accounts and other administrative matters. Mehzabeen completed Form 7 at Suva Muslim College and has done courses at FNTC and USP and is still continuing her studies to acquire and upgrade her skills.

Mehzabeen is married to Faiyaz Aziz who is with Fiji Human Rights Commission and has a 3 year old daughter, Aaliyah.

Clemence Tulele - Office Assistant

Clemence Tulele is the Office Assistant. Clemence joined Fiji Law Society in October 2002.

Clemence finished Form 6 at Nasinu Secondary School and has worked with Credit Corporation (Fiji) and PNG High Commission(Suva). Clemence is attending computer classes to acquire and upgrade his skills.
